Kaitlin has been working as an intern for J.J. Scheckel since December, 2010. She works in the office department helping with internal controls such as invoices, bills, and many other components within the business.
When asked what she likes about working at J.J. Scheckel's she replied, "It gives me the chance to experience the workforce and business world as I pursue my degree... I've learned how to process bills, calculate sales tax, and total work orders... All this will help me transition into my job upon finishing college." Kaitlin adds, "I appreciate all that my family, Josh, and other members of the J.J. Scheckel Corp. have done to get me where I am today with this career choice."
Kaitlin graduated from Bellevue High School in 2009 and is currently a junior at Clarke University in Dubuque, where she had originally planned to major in education, but was hesitant because of today's scary teaching market. After talking with owner Josh Scheckel, who explained how learning business procedures would help her throughout her life, she switched majors and will be graduating in December, 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphasis areas of Management, Finance, and Marketing.
