The Consignment Process
- We gather information and pictures of your assets
- We suggest a target selling price based on current market conditions and demand. We also sign a contract that states our commission of we sell your assets. There is no cost to you if we are unable to sell your assets. Keep in mind, unlike an auction, you ultimately approve the final sale price.
- After the target price is agreed on, J.J. Scheckel markets the assets to a worldwide audience, through trade magazines, direct advertising, equipment websites, our own website, and a proprietary email broadcast to end users and dealers around the world. Overall, J.J. Scheckel makes sure your assets for sale will be seen by an audience of over 500,000 prospective buyers that span the entire world.
- We then work through the sales process with interested buyers. We work out logistics and handle all sale arrangements. We then collect the proceeds and deliver the buyer with a bill of sale and all documentation.
